So, amazingly, here we go with the Hylton Gott Richard Burns Memorial Rally for the third year.

Looking back at last year my memories are of:

The many competitors, each with their own individual experiences, expressing absolute enjoyment of the event.

The Lancaster Bomber circling the service area, its awesome noise silencing every onlooker as it swept and incredible arc.

The smoothly organised “Red Arrows” photo shoot encompassing every competing crew – no mean feat!

The friendly “family” atmosphere that covered the whole event – especially the party on the Saturday evening.

And of course the event winner Kings Lynn Motor Clubs Ray Brammer, humbled and indeed almost tearful at bringing his car home 1st at last after some cruel luck in the proceeding season.

In fact it was without doubt the best event I have ever competed in and I’m proud to again sponsor the event.  How can it be possible to have so much fun whilst raising money for two very worthy charities?  I know the answer is in the organising team and thank them for their incredible efforts which continue throughout the year.  Get your entry in now and I look forward to meeting you at the event, which I promise is a blast.
